The third volume of Swecchaa Kavitvamu collects eleven poetry collections spanning 2013 to 2015 — the crucible years of Telangana statehood. Dedicated to Gurajada Apparao's 150th birth anniversary, it opens with Khadgam Kanneeru Kaarchadu ('The Sword Does Not Weep'), subtitled 'Democracy at the Peaks', and closes with Telangana Swaram — Aatma Bandham ('Voice of Telangana — Bond of the Soul'). The preface identifies five creative pillars: sound power, expression form, perspective, social dimension, and philosophical dimension. The Democracy trilogy — Fractured, Wounded, Still Far Away — frames a decade of political urgency. This volume is Ranga Rao's most explicitly political, written in the heat of a historic moment.
